Slow (progress?)

Not so happy with the progress I have made in the past weeks in terms of DJing. Well I have really gotten fairly far with Bome's MT. I just added a few new features to my TSI. I can now switch to show the Master Clock and Recorder panels. Basically shift + sample toggles between the standard dual FX panel look and the Master Clock and Recorder view. The cool thing is that if I press the sample button for more than half a second while holding the shift button, it works like a hold and not like a toggle. Quite nifty, check out my code repository for the TSI and Bome's script. Speaking of which Bome's MT could soon become a lot more version control friendly. I also made shift + quantize switch between internal master clock mode with all deck's synced and auto mode. But that is all toying around without getting me further in the music department. The only progress I have made there is to try out the Garageband piano lessons and determining that I want to learn how to play the piano. It looks like I will get the M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 even though its quite pricey for something to just try out. But I figure I should get weighted keys and it also includes a license to Ableton Live Lite if I read things correctly.

You won't regret getting a full-sized weighted keyboard. Toggling octave changes in smaller keyboards is a pain.
