Well it seems signing up to Facebook and posting a bit here and there is actually somewhat useful. One of my frisbee friends spotted a post on the DJTechTools fan group and figured I would be the guy to handle the jingles to be played at the start, before and just at the end of ultimate frisbee games at the capricorn tournament they are planning this summer.
Seems like a great task to get m fingers playing with something real world. Currently my guess is that the best approach would be to make a single track that contains the jingles and runs the entire length of a game plus the break after. I can run this in a loop in deck D inside Traktor Pro and it should mix up with the current playing music.
That would be a workable plan, though not ideal. I do not really want it to mix. It should actually ideally automatically silence the current playing music while playing the jingle and then automatically go back to the music once the jingle is done. No clue how to do that. Though it seems the first answers a trickling in on the forums.
