I am noticing a sharp increase in CD buying since I decided DJing is going to be my next big hobby. Just last week I picked up the new Prodigy "Invaders Must Die" (some good songs, but not like the Jilted Generation and friends), Crystal Method "Drive" (wow!!), Trentemoeller "The Last Resort" (can't go wrong with this artist) and the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack (really getting into Bhangra). They did not have Panjabi MC's "Indian Timing" (actually I was looking for the Instrumental). Well iTunes did have that one and so it begins. With iTunes plus it suddenly becomes viable for me to buy stuff there. So after picking up a heavily discounted Sigur Ros "Takk..." CD yesterday (wtf am I doing in a CD store so shortly after buing 4 CDs?), it continues with buying a discounted Junkie XL "Saturday Teenage Kick" album off if iTunes.
Mental note, going to 80% at work is not going to work if I do not control my general spending. Well or I could just start kicking some of those retirement funds ..
