I am also customizing the TSI a bit here and there. I adjust the pitch fader sensitivity, since I just love messing with the pitch and the key lock controls. Furthermore I did some further tweaks to my keyboard mappings, mostly focusing on file/playlist management. So stuff like analyzing and gridding, but also previewing. Also I reviewed the MIDI settings for my AK1. Since the DJTT TSI lacks seek support, I added seeking in the focused deck via rotary knob and with the left modifier pressed it seeks in a preview. Also I added play/pause to the middle/right for deck A/B (and deck C/D with the left modifier). This way I can play/pause when in juggle mode.

The next thing I wanted to add to the TSI was to support the cue buttons 5-8 via the shift button. However I think this might not be possible, since the current hotcue select mappings already use 2 modifiers. Also the DJTT mapping has almost no comments, which makes this task fairly difficult, since it means you need to check what is what with a MIDI monitoring app.

In other news, it seems that the inputs on my AK1 are broken. At least I can never get the input LED's to light up, let alone get any sound into my laptop or the AK1 monitor. NI has given me an RMA number, but I guess I will go back to jackpoint in Zurich and see if I am just too stupid. Also I am hoping they will give me a loaner audio interface for the time being.
